Susanne's Farm

Today I took my cats to my friend Susanne's house. We're moving to a new apt next week and I can't take them with us. I'd been trying to find them a good home but nothing turned up. Then I asked Susanne and she said she needed a couple barn cats. Kitty loves the outdoors and would make a great mouser, and as long as she's with Kitty, Jiji is happy. Susanne has a small barn with goats and chickens, and she makes the best goat cheese. Her baby goats are so cute, they come right up and beg to be petted. Susanne showed me around her house and her propery as well, she's got a gorgeous 2 story house and a dock on the Black River. It's so peacefull out there, I can see why she fell in love with this place.

I'm glad a found a good home for my cats and I had a good time, and I even smelled like a goat when I came home. ;)

Lunch at Ruby Tuesday

Brian took me to Ruby Tuesday on my lunch break and Mark and James came too. We had fun goofing off and bitching about annoying customers we had to deal with. I'm usually picked on when I'm outnumbered by these guys but they took it easy on me today. ;) I had a pretty good veggie burger and a salad to eat. I'm not a veggitarian or anything but I've been on a veggie/boca burger kick lately. They taste good to me and I don't feel so full as when I eat a greasy beef burger. I love going out to eat with friends like this, we always have a great time.

Lunch at Halyburton Park

Brian picked me up for lunch yesterday and we went to Halyburton Park to enjoy the weather. It's right around the corner from our apt. I wish we had come here more often, now we'll be moving in a month. It was a beautiful day, after eating I got Brian to push me on the swing a little. When we lived in Jacksonville he would meet Billy (the kid I babysat) and me for lunch at the park and push us both in the swings there. :) They have a walking trail that goes around the park, so we walked a little after eating. It was so hard to go back to work after that, I wish I could have stayed all day...

I went to Jacksonville today to talk to the seamstress and the jeweler. Then I went to an antique store and saw these buttons, I don't have any use for them or I would have bought some. After that I met Mom and Michael for dinner. I'm exhausted... and I'm going to Raleigh tomorrow to go shopping with Brian's sister Becky. I'm looking forward to it, I plan on stopping by the Hello Kitty store while I'm there too. ;)
