First wedding pics!

Getting my wedding pedicure! I treated my bridesmaids to a manicure/pedicure the day before the wedding. We had a great time just hanging out and relaxing a little before the crazyness started. I've got more pics from the salon of the girls that I'll post later when I have time.

The pocket watch that I got Brian as a wedding gift. On the front I had his initials engraved, on the back "You are the man of my dreams. I love you, Nicole. September 23, 2006"

Brian gave me this locket as my wedding gift, he didn't have time to engrave it yet though. I can't wait to get our pictures back from the photographer to put his picture in it!

This is the mocajete that Brian's mother gave me. It's basically a mortar and pestle made of lava rock and is used for crushing the tomatoes, onions and other things to make salsa. I love traditions and she gave it to me because in Mexico (where she's from) the mother gives one to the daughter when she gets married.

This was taken at the reception on the boardwalk by the water. My stepdad took it while the photographer was getting some last minute group shots.

This was our room at the Blue Haven bed and breakfast. It was the perfect ending to the perfect day.

I didn't get a chance to take any pics myself, but the ones taken by family and friends are starting to get to us. The photographer should have his ready for us in about 3 weeks. I'll post more when I get a chance.

Basically everything was great. No major problems or issues. I was thrilled and everyone enjoyed themselves. My favorite parts were seeing the looks on my mother's and Brian's faces when I walked down the isle, huging and kissing Brian right after the ceremony, and the horse drawn carriage ride after the reception. The food was amazing, the cake delicious, and my grandfather's music sounded wonderful being played by the pianist. I'm still a little amazed at it all. And it's still sinking in that I'm actually married. I keep looking over at Brian's hand to see the band on his finger and just feeling so happy.
