Crazy
Remember when the worst thing you had to worry about concerning your personal blog was your ex finding it? Or worse, your mother? (just kidding mom!)
So much for that, it looks like someone else got fired for talking about their job on their blog. She says she never mentioned the company's name, but that didn't matter to her boss I guess. Some people say that she should have known better and others say that her company has no right to fire her for what she does with her personal life outside of work. It makes me stop and think, have I mentioned anything about work here? Some people probably know what company I work for and what I do, but for the most part I don't have much to say about work exept:
I LOVE MY JOB, I LOVE TO GET PAID, PLEASE DONT FIRE ME. thanks.
I think people just forget how much you're exposing yourself when you post on a blog. That's one thing I've always loved about my LiveJournal account, you have alot of customizable privacy options for your posts. You can rant about your stupid cable company and block Suzie who works there from seeing the post. You can make posts completely private so no one can see them but you, and you can set your posts to be viewed by only people on your friend's list or they can be seen by the whole world.
And yet, here I am on blogger, for everyone to see. Maybe it's because I just don't have the kind of drama that I'm afraid of anyone seeing. "Oh no, I can't decide which style chairs to rent for the wedding reception! Whatever shall I do?" Yeah, real drama there.
(still got that livejournal though)

I know what you mean, I wonder if she was disliked at work for some reason and they were just looking for a reason to get rid of her... only she knows that I guess.
